Barrier-free access is available only on the summit station side.The staff helped with four people on the stairs to the ropeway entrance, and the bride in a wheelchair was able to enjoy the scenery. thank you very much.There were various souvenirs, and "Eating olive oil" was particularly delicious.

寒霞溪 is a beautiful scene. We took a cabin up to the top of the mountain. It offers the panorama view to explore entire city seashore. An amazing experience.

Gorgeous breathtaking scenery. The souvenir shop at the summit is okay. But the food stall at the summit is below average. Better to bring your own picnic up, or eat something back down.

Nice view from the mountain top. You can do hiking there or take the cable car back to the bus stop

Nature as it best! If you visit shōdoshima, you need to take the ropeway. Best views over the island! There are also a fair amount of things to do and places to visit. Super recommended!

I was driving from below to the top of the mountain. Here you can see all the sights of island. It can be said that the temperature immediately felt a few degrees lower when we arrived. There is an observation deck for people to take pictures. If you come to this island, I recommend that you must come up to this place.

Long queue lining up for the ropeway and plenty of tourists. Be prepared to wait or come earlier. From here, a nice observatory and some trees that have their leaves turned red and yellow. Nice place to take photographs

You can see the stunning scenery. I took the ropeway from the summit station, but it is more sightseeing to park the car at the station below. There are many roof tiles and facilities at the summit station, and climbing the ropeway gives you a better view of the scenery. ️ (* ^ ー ^) ノ ♪

Ropeway up the gorge is pricey, but worthwhile. Enjoyed the walk down with kids. Well-paved.

Yes, the view is outstanding, however it's over in a few minutes and when you consider the cost of the ride and the ferry to get there, I think there are better places to view the maple leaves in the Autumn, Its highly over rated and there will be scores of Japanese queueing in line before you get your 3 minute ride.Over all if you you just happen to be in the area and have a wad of cash to blow go for it, otherwise there are plenty of places around Kansai if you do the research.
